Today, as someone was buying a jumper dress and a knit / saying how her earnings are comparatively small to the work she does (or similar) I said, "Good thing you have these cosy clothes so when you can't pay for heating costs in the winter, you'll be warm."
And on the weekend, someone told me she had a two month old child. As she was leaving, I said, "Good luck rearing him."
